The truth about lead-free soldering

"OCCAM WEBINAR" by john@rohsusa.com on September 6, 2007, 3:57 pm, in category Lead free soldering issues
Occam Process Webinar Scheduled for Next Week

Verdant  Electronics will conduct an informational webinar on Tuesday, September 11th, to introduce its “evolutionary” new technology which integrates printed circuit board (PCB)  fabrication and assembly (PCBA).

Verdant Electronics’ founder and Occam Process developer Joseph (Joe) Fjelstad will present the technology, address frequently asked questions and answer live questions from webinar participants.

Also, new developments, in support of the Occam Process, will be disclosed.

“There are alternative capabilities as well as pathways to achieving certain objectives of the original technology, such as the production of solder free electronic assemblies,” said Fjelstad. “We will be unveiling some of those alternatives during this webinar, which may both enhance and accelerate delivery of the promise the Occam Process holds,” he concluded.

Agenda: 11:00-12:30 (PDT, GMT-7)
        11:00 AM—Welcome
11:10 AM—The Occam Process - An Alternative Approach to Electronics Manufacturing
        11:30 AM—Comments on FAQs
        12:00 PM—Open Q&A
        12:30 PM—Conclusion

The cost for the webinar is 99 per person.  To register, please visit: The Occam Process Webinar

About the Occam Process

The Occam Process promises to dramatically improve the way electronic products are made. This new methodology greatly reduces the number of process steps used to create electronic assemblies, simplifying PCB fabrication and assembly, thereby reducing cost and improving reliability. Moreover, products of the process will inherently comply with the EU’s RoHS legislation.
